What about your privacy in the employee survey?
When you take part in an employee survey, it’s important that you feel safe to answer honestly. That’s why we treat your privacy and anonymity with great care. In this article, we’ll explain how this works in Dialog.
Your answers are anonymous
When you fill in the survey, no one can see that the answers came from you. Everything you submit is automatically anonymised. This means your name or personal details are never shown — not in the results, not to HR, not to your manager, and of course, not to the Dialog Support Team either.
What do your manager and HR see?
They only get an overview at team level. So, no names — just the overall figures and insights from the team as a whole. This helps them understand how things are going in the team, without knowing who said what.
Only visible with 5 or more responses
To make sure no answers can be traced back to an individual, results are only shown when at least 5 people in your team have completed the survey. If fewer than 5 people respond, the results stay hidden.
You can still view your own answers
Of course, you can always see what you submitted. Your answers are marked with a small padlock icon. This means your response is anonymised to everyone else — so you can be confident your input is safe.
Can you respond or start a conversation?
Yes, you can — if your manager or HR replies to your comment. You can then respond back. This way, a conversation can develop, while you stay anonymous. Your manager or HR won't know who made the original comment or who is replying.
Questions about your privacy?
If you still have questions about how your privacy is protected, feel free to ask your manager or HR within your organisation. They’ll be happy to help.
At Dialog, we take anonymity very seriously. We do everything we can to make sure your answers remain safe and confidential.
