What can I find in the goal report?

Under the 'Organisation' tab, you can find various overviews about Dialog usage within your organisation. In this article we explain what you can find in the goal report and how you can use it to steer for progress.

Circle diagrams

The circle diagrams provide insight into the status of the number of personal plans created, the number of goals created and the number of active users within the organization. Below we explain what each diagram entails.

Specific insights by filters and settings

In Dialog you can apply a filter or a setting to obtain specific charts and insights related to employee goals. You can export the contents of the selected view as a CSV file. Here you find how to do this:

  1. Filter by a cycle or by a self-set period
All insights that are shown are about the selected cycle/period.

  2. Filtering by teams
All insights that are shown are about the employees who sit the selected team.

  3. Filtering by functions
All insights that are shown are about the employees holding the selected position.

  4. Apply setting the overview by employee (and teams and functions)
All insights are shown per individual employee. Also, like the filters above, you can show insights by team or by function here.

  5. Exporting data
The data is exported as a CSV file. You can then open this file in Excel so that you can read and share the contents of the table within the organization.

Steering for progress

To steer for progress  it is important that you communicate clear expectations to employees and managers in advance. What and when are they expected to do something?

Steering by number of personal plans

Managing employees

You can use this overview to actively manage progress. You have direct insight into which employees already have a personal plan and which do not yet have one. So you know which employees you can still activate to think about what they want to achieve and develop.

Manage managers

By setting the overview to 'By team', you can see how many employees per team have already made a personal plan. Are there teams where many employees have not yet made a plan? If so, this could be a reason to contact the manager of this team to ask why.
