A talent review is a process where employees are scored on two or three dimensions, such as performance and potential. As a manager, you are providing the organisation a picture of your employees. The scores you give will result in a visual overview in the form of a grid. Afterwards, these results can be discussed with HR and possibly other supervisors. This way, you are able to identify the talented employees in the organisation.

The talent review in Dialog
As a manager, you can fill in the talent review for your employees. You receive an e-mail notification when it time to fill in the talent review in Dialog. Via the button in the mail, you can directly go to the talent review.
When you open the Talent Review, you will see an overview of the employees for whom you can complete the evaluation. You can assess each employee on the dimensions set by your organisation, such as Performance and Potential. In addition to scores, there is space to provide comments on your evaluation.
While filling out the evaluation, you'll see a context panel on the right with additional information about the employee, such as their goals, received feedback, activities, and any private notes. This helps you to provide a well-informed evaluation.
When you have finished filling out the evaluation, click on Save. The information you entered remains confidential; neither your employees nor other managers have access to your submitted scores.
After completing the Talent Review, you receive a visual representation of the talent within your team. The results can be discussed in a follow-up session with HR and any other managers. This provides a valuable opportunity to jointly review the potential and development plans for employees.
Any changes can be made in the following way:
- Click on 'Team'
- Click on 'Talent Review'
- Click on the list icon
Then, you can click on the employee for whom you want to make changes
