Do you want to change the settings of your review cycle or add a review moment? Read here how to do this.
1. Click on 'Management'
2. Click on 'Review cycles'
Here you see an overview of all previous, active and future review cycles.
3. Click on the cycle that you want to manage.
General Settings
Under the 'Planning' tab, you can manage the general settings like:
- The name of the review cycle
- The start and end date
- You have the option to automatically repeat the cycle. This means that around 3 months before the end of you cycle, a copy is made for next year that you can edit later. In this way, you always have an active cycle.
Click on the button 'Save' to save all the changed settings.
Goal setting
Under the 'Set goals moment' tab, you can define when (or if) new goals can be set. Click on the three dots and select 'Edit'. The settings you can adjust:

- Intro text
This appears on the first page of the intake (if the employee clicks on the button 'Help with Setting Goals'). - Start date - End date
The end date is used in the email sent from Dialog. - Message date, the date when a message is sent to indicate that new goals can be set.
- Steps, which steps will be included in the intake.
- Development questions, which development questions are included in the intake.
Evaluation moments
Under the 'Moments' tab, you can define when the employee and/or supervisor can write the evaluation.
- Enter the name of the evaluation moment. If you use multiple languages, click on the flag icon to add a translation.
- Under 'Period' select the start and end date during which the employee and/ or supervisor can write and complete the review.
Note: This is not a strict deadline - evaluations can still be written and completed even after this period has passed. - Under 'Type' you can select if this is a midterm/ end evaluation or other.
The type is important for the reports. So you have the option to filter on the different types. - Check the box for 'Send message on' if you want all employees to receive the evaluation announcement email.
- If you want to write your own e-mail text, you can add it in the text field below 'Text in e-mail'.
In the email, for example, you can indicate what you expect from the employees. And by which date they should have written the evaluation. - Indicate who is going to write the review
only the employee, only the reviewer(s) or employee & reviewer(s) - Click on the pencil icon below 'Template' to see what the evaluation template looks like or select another template.
If you would like any points adjusted in the form, you can send a preview to support@dialog.nl, make sure you provide us the changes at least 3 weeks before the evaluation moment starts. - Do you want a reminder for the evaluation moment to be sent? Then check the box
The reminder will be sent halfway through the moment to all employees who have not yet written their evaluation. - Do you want the employee and supervisor to have to approve the evaluation to complete? Then check the box

- Click ‘Save’ when you have adjusted the settings for the evaluation moment.
- At the bottom of the page, click ‘Save’ again so that all changes are also saved.
Click on 'Add evaluation moment' to add a new evaluation moment in your cycle.
