By linking your calendar, you can:
Automatically suggest available meeting times in Dialog
Save scheduled appointments directly in both your calendar and that of your team member
Linking your Outlook calendar
You have two options to link your calendar:
Option 1: Via the Conversations page
Go to the 'Conversations' tab under the Team tab
Click on 'Schedule conversation'
Click the 'connect your calendar' button
Sign in with your Outlook account and grant permission
Option 2: Via your profile page
Go to your personal profile by clicking your name in the top right and selecting 'Profile'
Scroll down to 'Integrations'
Click the 'connect your calendar' button
Sign in with your Outlook account and confirm the link
How does scheduling a conversation work?
Go to the 'Conversations' tab under the Team tab
Click 'Schedule conversation' or 'Schedule now' next to a team member
You will automatically see suggested times based on your calendar and that of your team member
Choose a time and confirm the appointment
The appointment is automatically added to your Outlook calendar
The team member receives an Outlook invitation for the meeting
Good to know: Employee email address required
When inviting a team member or retrieving availability suggestions, we use their email address to check availability or add appointments to their calendar. If this email address is not known within Microsoft Entra, no suggestions can be retrieved and availability will not be shown.
How does it work for team members?
Team members can also link their calendars. However, at this time, this has no direct function in Dialog. The availability of team members is automatically retrieved when you, as a manager, link your calendar. Therefore, there is no need for team members to link theirs separately.
