This article shows an example of how employees can fill in an engagement survey using Dialog. Employees receive an email with a link to the survey. Click on 'Go to survey' to directly access the survey. To make this as easy as possible, employees don't need to log in to Dialog to fill in the survey.
Note: each employee receives a unique link. It's crucial not to forward or share this link/email within the organization, as it can impact survey results.
After clicking on 'Go to survey', you are directed to the survey's start screen. Here you see the name of the survey, the numbers of questions and the estimated duration. Click on 'Start survey' to begin.
When scheduling the survey, you chose to either ask 1 question per page or 1 theme per page. Depending on your choice, answering questions will look different.
1. You can score a question and add an explanation.
2. If your organisation also uses the Performance module of Dialog, employees can choose to add a question and answer as a private talking point. They can then discuss this later with their supervisor.
3. Click 'Next' to proceed to the following page.
Employees also have the option to skip a question. Before submitting, they are reminded that not all questions have been answered.
4. You can close the survey using the cross in the top left corner. The answers are always saved automatically. An employee can return to the survey later via the link in the email or the banner in their account.

When all the questions have been completed, the employee can submit their answers. We emphasize once again that the answers provided are anonymous and cannot be traced back to the employee.
The employee will then arrive at the thank you screen. From there, they can either log in immediately or register for Dialog. This will allow the employee to view their own answers in their dashboard.
