The evaluation process in Dialog
1. You employees can first write their self-evaluation. Once they have done this, you will recieve an email notification. By clicking on the 'See evaluation' button in this email, you will go directly to the employee's evaluation form.
2. You also write an evaluation about the employee. You don't have to wait for the employee to share their self-evaluation, but this makes the process easier for you. As you can see what the employee has written in their self-evaluation.
You also have access to your own (private) notes about the employee, as well as their reflections and received feedback. So you have all the information you need. This makes writing the evaluation even more easier.
You can save an evaluation as a draft and finish it at a later time.
3. Once you're done writing the evaluation, you can send it by clicking on 'Send...'. The employee will then receive an email and can view the evaluation you have written.
After clicking on Send, you are asked whether you want to only send the evaluation or complete
it immediately. In most cases, you complete the evaluation after you've had the conversation with the employee, so you are still able to make changes if needed.
4. The evaluation conversation takes place.
5. If needed, you can adjust the evaluation based on what you've discussed. the evaluation form according to what you discussed. After the conversation, it is your responsibility to complete the evaluation. This closes the evaluation and so the answers can no longer be edited.
You do this by clicking ‘Complete’ at the bottom of the form. Have you accidentally completed the evaluation but do you or the employee still want to change it? Then you can ask your organisation's internal administrator to reopen the evaluation.
6. Has your organisation chosen that you and the employee have to approve the evaluation after it is completed? Then are asked to approve the evaluation immediately after you complete it. The employee then receives an email to check and approve the evaluation. When the employee also approves the evaluation, it is fully completed.
